Christine and Michael had a wedding celebration that spanned two days. On day one, they had a traditional Chinese Tea ceremony at home followed by a western wedding ceremony at Gremillion and Co. Fine Art, Inc. If you haven’t seen a Chinese Tea ceremony before, you are in for a treat. The groom is usually tortured and humiliated in front of everybody before he’s allowed to see the bride. It sure is a great way to break the ice since everybody gets a good laugh out of it. Day two was reserved entirely for the wedding reception held at The Hobby Center. We knew Christine is an interior designer and couldn’t wait to see how she would transform the place. Michael is a restaurant owner, so he knows a thing or two about how to put together a great party. We were expecting one amazing wedding reception and boy did they not disappoint!
As always, we had a great time working with Valerie from Belle of the Ball. Needless to say, she did an awesome job too. We also loved to worked with our buddy, Tim, from T-Square Production. You can check out his amazing wedding video at the end of the blog post.

Michael was so emotional after seeing Christine in her dress for the first time. He couldn’t stop shedding his happy tears!

They also used the pictures from engagement and bridal sessions to decorate Hobby Center’s ticketing center. So cool!!
First dance in front of the Houston downtown skyline. Can’t get any better than that!
This was fun! The family joined in at the end of the first dance and did a choreographed dance to “We are family!”
